Unity Week at UCSF

Unity Week at UCSF is a new year-long, quarterly community-building series that creates recurring meaningful opportunities for UCSF community members to learn, connect, and engage across cultures, identities, and lived experiences. The initiative responds to documented climate gaps by pairing identity-affirming learning with structured opportunities for dialogue and cross-community connection.

Each Unity Week incorporates wellness, history, and arts/community-building activities connected to UCSF's quarterly heritage months and commemorative days. Programming will rotate across UCSF locations per quarter* to broaden access and connect participants with community narratives, resources, and partners (*subject to change pending on venue feasibility). Together, these series of activities provide accessible entry points for learning, reflection, dialogue, and relationship-building while elevating diverse community narratives.

The MRC and Unity Week partners welcome you to engage in this new pilot series to foster, nurture, and strengthen a welcoming organizational culture at UCSF!
