From September 15 through October 15, UCSF recognizes Latinx Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the histories, cultures, experiences, and contributions of Latinx communities. Across UCSF, Latinx faculty, staff, learners, researchers, clinicians, and community members have helped shape our institution through their leadership, scholarship, service, mentorship, and commitment to advancing health equity and the communities we serve.
This month also highlights the power of collaboration and community at UCSF. Registered Campus Organizations, including the Chicanx Latinx Campus Association (CLCA) and Women in Tech (WIT), are partnering to offer programs that foster cultural celebration, learning, professional development, and connection. We invite the UCSF community to participate, learn, and celebrate the people and contributions that continue to enrich our institution.
UCSF welcomes all participants to our events. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this event because of a disability, please contact the point person named in the events calendar as soon as possible.
Guest Speakers: UCSF endeavors to create greater understanding and supports the exchange of diverse ideas. Views and opinions of guest speakers on campus are their own and may not reflect the perspective of the University.
