The UCSF Office of Opportunity and Outreach’s Bridging Differences: Difficult Dialogues Speaker Series is hosting its next event, “A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change,” featuring Aziza Hasan, on April 30th, from 11 AM –12 PM.
This series brings our community together to engage complex topics across lines of difference, equipping participants with tools to foster dialogue, deepen understanding, and strengthen accountability within our learning and clinical spaces.
Aziza Hasan is the Executive Director of NewGround: A Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change. She will speak on intercultural and interfaith coalition-building, with a focus on fostering cohesion, navigating difficult dialogues, and building sustainable partnerships across faith and identity communities.
Hasan brings extensive experience leading dialogue and leadership initiatives that equip institutions to strengthen trust, respond to tension with clarity and care, and cultivate cultures of belonging.
