The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, originally and known as Orange Shirt Day, began in Canadian, where it has official standing. September 30, every year, is a day of memorial to recognize the atrocities and multi-generational effects of the American Indian residential school system. There are two opportunities to share your solidarity:
Wear an Orange Shirt: Wear an orange shirt and share the photo with NAHA for our Instagram account. You can share the photo here or email it. By wearing an orange shirt you make a statement to support truth & reconciliation and commit to the enduring truth that Every Child Matters.
