The Multicultural Resource Center's main goal, under the auspices of the Office of Diversity & Outreach, is to promote a campus culture of inclusion and equity, cultural competency and inter-professional collaboration, and nurture the pipeline in the recruitment and retention of faculty, students, trainees and staff.

MRC is a sustainable and thriving campus force supported by campus leadership and administration, staff, and students. It also serves as a study lounge and venue for registered campus organizations. MRC provides programming for personal and professional development to:

- Cultivate community at UCSF
- Foster collaboration between faculty, staff, and students
- Create a safe space for learning about diversity and inclusion broadly
- Create a safe space for engaging in productive discussions around diversity and inclusion
- Provide a safe space for personal reflection and growth

The Multicultural Resource Center is located on the Parnassus campus in Milberry Union.

Hours: M-F 5:30am – 10pm and Sat-Sun 7:30am-8pm

All students have access with their ID badges to the center during fitness center hours.
