Time:

Place:
Zoom

Join the Native American Health Alliance (NAHA), the Association of Native American Medical Students (ANAMS), and the Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) at UCSF to celebrate "Solidarity and Sovereignty" in Indian Country.

This has been an intense and important year for racial issues and health disparities in our country. We hope to both build from that and to heal as a group. Please join us in solidarity to celebrate the sovereignty of Native peoples in our community and our country. This event is open to ALL, you do not need to identify as American Indian/Native to attend.

This year's retreat will feature a reflective workshop series centered on Transformative Social Justice, followed by an opportunity to put into practice these new skills towards creating a more equitable environment for Native/Indigenous identities at UCSF and Beyond. In addition, we will be joined by esteemed guests, Corrina Gould, and Dr. Donald Warne, who will share their personal journeys and words of wisdom. We look forward to creating and sharing this space with you.

Please register in advance to receive zoom information.
